I very much enjoy your analyses. I disagree with the following: "So, when Bellamy said, “They never would have stopped”….i think he is wrong. I think that if Cage was killed the Mountain Men would be able to have new leadership that would be able to work ." I don't think killing Cage would have ended it. He had enough military/medical people on his side, that they would not simply stop to talk it over. I think Jasper would have been shot and the rest of Cage's crew would have finished the job.

I see your point. However, I think that it would have caused a panic and then it could have led to a different outcome. My point with Bellamy saying “they never would have stopped” is that under the right leadership they could have worked something out. There were still people in that Mountain that were trying to protect the delinquents, but were scared into complying. I was merely pointing out that it could have led to a different outcome where Bellamy’s never isn’t valid. I kinda went into Jasper’s mindset when I was writing that post and his beliefs. 

I think that Jasper will bring this up to Clarke this season – his beliefs that there WAS another option. Jasper will feel like if they would have waited just one more second he could have TRIED to kill Cage and stop what the Mountain Men were doing. If that didn’t work, then the only option left would be to irradiate the level. What I was saying is that not ALL measures were exhausted before Clarke and Bellamy irradiated the level. But, like I said, they didn’t know of Jasper’s plan and thought it was the only option they had. Jasper’s plan sucked and he probably couldn’t have injured Cage, but, I feel like there was a ‘mob like’ mentality where if something could have stopped this thinking – just for a second – people might have come to their senses and stopped the drilling and reflected on Kane’s proposal.

But, this is a ‘coulda’ scenario about what Jasper may or may not have been able to do. It is the “never” and “no choice” that Clarke and Bellamy reply that I think Jasper will bring up in season 3….that there was one more option but it was never allowed played out to see if there could have been a different outcome. This outcome that would have saved Maya and the children inside Mount Weather and the majority of the 382 Mountain Men that were killed to save around 60ish people.

I’m not giving up hope… Not yet. The walking dead spin off will be aprox 13-16 episodes and we don’t know when it will film. There is a small chance that production can work out.

this is very much an optimist meets pessimist. haha i hope so very much that you're right. i just dont see how in the story that lexa will live. nothing would cause more chaos than if lexa dies. thats one of the main reasons why i see it happening.
