The more time Roger spends with their new bassist, the more he falls for him. But he’s sure John doesn’t feel the same, and insists on trying to hide his feelings so he doesn’t threaten the band (Brian figures it out anyway).

Comments: 

I vividly remember reading this just after I woke up on the 1st of January, and what a way to start the new year. What, to me, really makes this fic stand out is that the author has chosen to go with the borhap characters. It makes it seem very fresh and original, and they really nailed them; I could hear the actors speak every line. The emotions all seemed very real - I have a tendency to give up a fic as soon as one of the boys starts crying, but it was in no way overdone here, and drunk Roger especially was so skilfully portrayed. A treat of a get together fic, and one which can be read anywhere and at any time!
