Exeter Beats Up Tomahawks, 15-3
The Tomahawks seemingly couldn’t get out of their own way against Exeter, compiling a list of miscues as they fell 15-3 in six innings. Merrimack committed five errors in the loss, resulting in eight unearned runs. The pitching didn’t do much to help their own cause; the staff allowed 11 hits and nine walks. Caitlin Minear was ultimately tagged as the losing pitcher. Renee LeClaire provided most of the offense for the Tomahawks, collecting three of the team’s five hits.
