Hi! Just wondering, is there any reason for the dates picked for nm week? Cos I noticed that there was a lot of Japanese fanart for narumitsu day yesterday as well? So is there a generally accepted kinda nm day or something? And is there a reason for the date? Sorry I'm new, so ^^"

Narumitsu Day, July 3rd or 07/03, is Narumitsu Day because “7″ in Japanese is “Nanatsu”, and “3″ is “Mitsu”. 

Because Naruhodou Ryuuichi (Phoenix's Japanese name) and Mitsurugi Reiji (Miles’ Japanese name) start with Na and Mi respectively, their Japanese pairing day is unofficially known as the 3rd of July. 

I can’t take credit for this reply- I was told this by a nice anon last year when I was arranging Narumitsu Week 2015, but that’s why July 3rd was the start date for this event!

The Tomahawks finished the Division I regular season at 10-8 thanks to 3 for 3 days at the plate by Ashley Grassini (double, homer) and Renee LeClair. Several freshmen also helped in the win, including Caylee Dudash (two-run double), Olivia Tsatsa (hit, run scored), Caroline Valluzzi (good defense at second) and Liz Scheurith (played well in center field). Holly Eisenberg and Reagun Burns each had three goals and an assist as Hollis Brookline picked up its first win to improve to 1-3. Also entering the scoring column for the Cavs were: Katie Tighe (two goals, two assists), Mariah Passamonte (two goals, one assist), Megan Sweeney (two goals), Lexi Chilton, Fiona Kennedy and Hanna MacLeod (a goal apiece), Marin Owens (goal, assist), Lauria Patz (three assists), and Shae Berry (two assists). Maggie O’Hara had 12 saves for the Cavs. For host Nashua South (1-3), Tori Kane had the lone goal while Kate Tenney made eight saves.
