Dusol Fan Meeting (15.12.2013)
Biffy Clyro - Rockhal Box (Luxembourg) - 15.12.2013
Ever since I saw Biffy Clyro at Rock-A-Field last year, I’d been hoping to get the chance to experience a proper gig and I’m glad I did because they definitely were in an even better form than at the festival. Arriving at the venue one a half hours before the doors opened, I looked at the queue and decided that my chances for getting a front row spot weren’t all that good – wrong! Far to the left, but it turned out to be the perfect spot as Simon spent quite some time there ☺ The support act was Seattle rock band Walking Papers. Even though their music is just not my cup of tea, their performance – especially that of frontman Jeff Angell – was enjoyable. As I said, Biffy were in great form, the crowd maybe not so much – at least compared to what you ususally hear about Biffy gigs, including mosh pits and stuff like that. I’m not complaining, I could well do without, I just hope it wasn’t disappointing for the band. Not that they made us feel like it was! They even mentioned the gig on twitter whereas some of the bands I went to see in Luxembourg this year kept dead quiet about theirs ;) Setlist: Different People That Golden Rule Who’s Got A Match? Sounds Like Balloons Biblical All The Way Down God & Satan Glitter & Trauma Bubbles Spanish Radio The Joke’s On Us The Rain (acoustic) Folding Stars (acoustic) Living Is A Problem... 57 Many Of Horror Modern Magic Formula Black Chandelier Woo Woo The Captain Encore: Opposite Stinging Bell Mountains Despite of the cold, it was one of the largest number of people I’ve ever seen waiting after a gig at the Rockhal. We weren’t disappointed as James came out to sign stuff. With the gate being closed, only few people asked for a photo, but they must have got some pretty funny ones with James pretending to be caged. I’ve already posted my best shots here on the blog, but if you want to have a look a the whole set, you can do so here.
I really hate the low quality of the vedio, but I really love them.OMG,they are sooooo sweet.sweet kiss ever❤❤perfect family ever ❤❤[x]
