Nightmare yawned as they opened the wooden door to their home, they had a pretty tough day today and the thought of sleeping in their bed sounded very appealing. They walked into their living room shutting the door behind them as they entered.

Their black and cyan freckled ears twitching tiredly as their tail was swinging lazily. Nightmare looked down the hall of which thier room was contained, and groaned. Thinking it was too far, and that their legs would not take them that far.

So Nightmare did the next best thing, and practically jumped on their Violet purple colored couch. It was so soft and comfy, Nightmare fell asleep almost instantly. Their tail swishing around out of happiness and comfort, and one of their black and cyan freckled ears fell as the other stayed up. A small smile appearing on their face as they slept a dreamless sleep. Awaiting for the next day to come.

Entry #3

I have finally seen you, talked to you, touched you. I was so stunned, I made an utter fool of myself. It was such a shock to see you to finally be in the moment I anticipated for so many years. Daisy, you looked different, you acted differently. However, your lovely voice stayed the same, mesmerizing me. I admit, the encounter was awkward at first, nothing like the reunion that I imagined. For a moment, I felt as if all of this was for nothing. However, after some time, I could see, and feel, our old selves climbing out of our souls and coexist in absolute bliss. When you cried tears of joy, I felt as if you were washing away all of the doubts I ever had. I was so engrossed in you and re-exploring our romance, I didn’t even notice when Nick left. I am beyond happy. Of course I am, I am with you, my darling.

„I need a date. For a wedding. Charming, good looking, polite, a gentleman. No hurting people, no killing people, nothing to damage anyone. When the wedding is over, you can get your incubus-sex refill, but I have to look great and need a proper companion for my sister’s wedding tomorrow”

The wispy, unformed thing in front of her… wavered.

“Until then,” the room said. There was a gust of wind, the candles extinguished, and the room became dark.

She sat there, feeling rather… strange. You didn’t summon a demon every day. Not with your… ‘intimate juices’. Neither the summoning circle or… anything else.

… this… was strange.

But it… had said something?

There had been something?

… … …

Well, it did not really matter.

This had been a last resort kind of scenario.

Gabrielle would see if there would be a companion for the wedding tomorrow.

This was… mildly concerning.

… if not… it was worth a try.

Character Profiles:

Esperanza:

 The main character of The House on Mango Street, the 12 year old little girl who is thrown into a whole different environment. She moves to Mango Street, meets its inhabitants, and gets a firsthand experience of how tragic life can be. From deaths to her own traumatic experience, this story shows how Esperanza grows and develops as a character in a critical period of her life.

Minerva: 

Minerva is about 14 years old, and married with two children. Her husband comes and leaves her life as much as he likes, in addition to abusing her whenever he does come back. Minerva shares certain qualities with Esperanza, including their mutual interest in writing poetry. However when she is introduced in Minerva Writes Poetry, she is described as being usually very sad, crying most days and nights.But, her character serves as a reminder to Esperanza to not lose her drive and ambition to one day leave Mango Street.

Introduction

In this module, I am going to explore more so into my ability to analyses my own work and others, allowing me to better myself at contextualizing my work based around contemporary and historical practice. This module could possibly open my mind to a different way of thinking and help me discover what it takes to be a top creative thinker. 

I look forward to observing how my understanding is to certain seminars, methodologies and practices there are within the area of design i have chosen to go down, as well as other areas.  I will be critically evaluating, analyzing appropriate critical and theoretical texts, as well as Identifying relevant sources of information to the visual and textual analysis of design. 

Over this module i will be introduced to many new concepts and ideas that will spark debate, which will then form this blog dedicated to my own ideas and opinions based on the concepts i have been shown.

30 day challenge - day 3 & 4

It was getting colder. He paced as he waited. Too much time to think and try to remember what exactly he was getting into. He pulls out the phone again to page through the contacts. Checking each name to see if it sparks some recognition. Alisha, Bruce, Charles, Daniel, Edward, Greg, Hal, Julia...that one stops him. He had thought it before inside the cafe. "Not since Julia." Still no idea.

He was getting colder. Even in the overcoat he shivers, wraps the scarf a bit tighter around his neck and wishes for a hat. For some reason that makes him laugh. A still image comes to him. A picture someone had taken of two men, laughing together, arms around each others shoulders, truly ridiculous knitted hats on their heads. He feels a warmth from the memory, a sweetness that is as unexpected as it is welcome.

He glances up as a car rounds the corner. It begins to snow.
