I'm back!
Long time no see!
I've been so busy lately that I had no time to sit down and scroll through tumblr for weeks. I think it's getting better now and I'll have more free time to check how everyone is doing.
Me? I wasn't doing well until recently. I stopped preparing lunch and just bought sandwiches at work. For dinner I would often go out with friends and normally it wouldn't end in smart dinner choices. I slept poorly and felt fatigued. And I was mostly just sad.
Everything changed when I remembered the time I did intermittent fasting (16 8 diet) and felt great. Now I only eat lunch and early dinner with a fruit inbetween. For the first half of day I skip cappuccino at work, opting for water or sugar free tea. In my eating window I sometimes allow myself a candy or some cake so I don't feel deprived.
And for the first time in a while I feel great. I fall asleep fast and sleep through the night. I have enough energy throughout the day. I start feeling hungry only about an hour before lunch so it's not difficult to fast. It's only been 2 weeks but my clothes are getting less tight. Oh and most importantly, my mood has improved greatly!
I'm very happy with my decision to go back to intermittent fasting. And this time around I'm using an app 'Vora' which helps me track time. My username is luri, feel free to add me.
