So, Queens of the Stone Age and their album Songs for the Deaf was on repeat. And then a lot of British indie, like Two Door Cinema Club, The Kooks, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, and all these jangly interesting guitar parts that I loved but hadn’t written in that style before.”

November 16, 2024 - Day 150
Big day of errands and it had been a while since I got flowers, so.
Lots of time with H today, perhaps too much... but who can say. It's good to have the privilege of getting sick of him. I was reflecting today about how often I'm ashamed of my hobbies and interests and whether they are going to get me mocked, of course we all know where that fear comes from. And to a certain extent it may be holding me back, so I'm going to make an effort to spend time on my hobbies and indulge in new interests when they arise. I have some seeds coming, some for now and some for the future. I'm looking forward to new planting.
