assignment 10
I believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that cannot be taken away from anyone since it is an personal opinion. As for how to change peoples perception of the “ideal body image”, I think one way that has not been used too much is using biological history. When you look back into the history of any species known to existence, you can count on finding only the finest of specimens get to pass on their gene pool. You don't see an obese buck expanding their gene pool since they are viewed by the other doe as unfit to survive. It can also be found that those who are of good health (not necessarily fit with busting biceps or shredded abs but are of healthy weight and fitness) tend to live longer and do not suffer from as many sicknesses. In order for a species to survive, there must always be darwinism to weed out the “weaker genes” and have a constantly evolving race that is more likely to survive.
