The Beatles recording the 1963 Christmas edition of Saturday Club at the Playhouse Theatre in London on 17th December 1963. The Beatles performed six songs plus a 'Chrimble Medley', comprising Love Me Do, Please Please Me, From Me To You, She Loves You, I Want To Hold Your Hand, and Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, which lasted just 29 seconds. They also sang a pastiche of Dora Bryan's seasonal hit All I Want For Christmas Is A Beatle, adapting the words to All I Want For Christmas Is A Bottle.
They’re photographed talking to Bernard Andrews in the last photo, Saturday Club’s producer.Â
A quotidian morning.
5:00amÂ
You wake up,too early, You usually wake up at 9. You keep tossing and turning but you can hardly fall asleep again. You decide to wake up and do something. You think of going for a walk and getting coffee but it’s too early, You don’t wanna just lie down; you wanna do something productive so you decide to do some chores that you’ll have to do throughout the day anyways. At 6:30 you get readyand leave the house.
7:00 amÂ
The skies look incredibly beautiful; you would rather be starring at them with someone you love. You can’t stop staring while walking; suddenly you bump into a stranger so you apologize without even looking and you keep walking. You decide to get coffee from the first coffee shop you pass by. Bam, you find a beautiful vintage looking one. You order your favourite hot mocha. You get your order and the mocha tastes heavenly decent that you would rather be sharing it with someone you love. As you sit there and take a sip, you begin to rethink some situations, rethink life decisions you’ve made and how some life choices and decisions would’ve been different if they were taken at different timings, different places and when you might’ve been in different mental states. You think of how everything’s settled out that way and that for everything that happens there’s a logical reason that you might find out later or never. You recall promising yourself a break from overthinking the last time you felt very depressed so you just blank out for a second and decide to listen to some music while enjoying your coffee because life is very enjoyable if we live every moment thinking about the present and only the present without drowning ourselves in past situations that we most probably cant change anything about. However if a past thought ever crosses our minds with an idea to make a change about a past experience, we shouldn’t hesitate to give it a try because if we dont , we’ll be left with nothing but regret and curiosity or we’ll waste a pretty much a lot of our present/future time thinking about it. Life is simple but your mind isn’t;good luck with that. Â
