John throws a paper aeroplane at an art exhibition held at the Royal Institute galleries, Piccadilly, London on the 30th December 1968. The exhibition was in support of 40 members of staff who had been sacked from the Guildford School of Art. John and Yoko handed out A4 sheets of paper with on each of which was written "fold this 9 times". Everyone tried and failed.
