THIS SHOULD BE MORE COMMON.
So, at first, the idea of putting sticky notes on everyone’s lockers at school seemed boring, and honestly pretty messy. I assumed I’d have none - because I’m an awkward tater tot. But my mindset changed when I saw the sheer amount of sticky notes along the hallway lockers at my school.
I’m not quite sure where it started, or if my school is the first to do it. Probably not. But regardless, the basis of it is to get seventeen sticky notes - for the seventeen killed in Florida - and write down something nice about someone you don’t usually talk to, then place it on their locker when they aren’t looking.
It’s called the 17 Walk-Up. These are the two I found on my locker only a day after the event’s start:
Sunglasses over my name because of privacy reasons.
