It has been real Colorado. Unfortunately I am only coming home with a couple of PRs and no trophies. I gave it my all and now I am motivated for my future in the sport of powerlifting. I learned a lot about myself in competition and about having strength of character along with a strong deadlift. I could not have done any of this without my wife Maggie. She is my heart and biggest supporter. At the end of the day I just want to make her proud along with my friends and family. Maybe next year Raw Nationals will be closer to home so I can bring an entourage. No more heavy deadlifts until Nationals. Just working on speed with 1 deadlifts at 355lb every 45 seconds for 10 sets. I think back to the days when this was a challenge and now it is a warm up.
