Some things i did not like about the Dire Trip's video on the Kristianstad and Eslöv school stabbings.
idk if i forgot anything. here are some things that kinda made me mad in his video.
they were not wannabe school shooters, they were school stabbers. hugo brought an airsoft gun only to cause the cops to shoot him. laaiti was interested in knife crimes.
Laaiti did not lay the fourth knife down gently. His behaviors during the whole attack were angry. There is a fourth stab mark into the table so it can be assumed he stabbed it into the desk aswell but removed it.
Hugo did not drop the gun immediately. There was one officer there who fired a warning shot. as the other officers began to arrive, that's it when he surrendered.
Laaiti's name pronunciation.
Both boys are not active threats and are BOTH very unlikely to criminally reoffend. I hate the fact people treat laaiti as a saint because his recovery and hugo as the devil because he didnt choose recovery like laaiti did. remember that hugo didnt think he would make it out alive. hugo is seen as an active threat by people online even though he isnt. this video makes it seem like they will reoffend. They both want normal lives now.
Hugo did not use his Go-pro in the attack. He used his cellphone. He still used the head mount.
Aiming the airsoft gun wasn't “likely” a suicide attempt. It was. He details it in plan A.
Laaiti was not compliant about abstaining from contact with Hugo. Hugo changed his screen name and continued contact. Even days before the Kristianstad attack, he was in contact with Hugo.
Laaiti's motivation for the attack isn't shown clearly in the video. It sounds like he saw Hugo do it and decided to do it only because of that.
