DUNE (1984/2000/2021*) side-by-side comparison (trailer #1)

A nice side by side comparison of the three different adaptations of Dune.  The 2000 version is a respectable low budget version, and the 1984 version was a glorious mess critics called the worst movie of that year (my 13 year old self thought it was magnificent!!) I am definitely enjoying the new movies with a wiser perspective on the anti-white savior trope message Frank Herbert subverted into his books

Confession: I've never finished Lynch's Dune, I stopped right after Sting-Rautha stepped out of the sauna in Speedos, that paired with the Harkonnen shenanigans was too much. Maybe I'll continue it when I'm ready.

If you like 80s-ish techno beats and are a fan of the 1984 version of ‘DUNE’, then this song is the one for you. (Mind you, the DUNE cameo is only at the beginning, but I was thrilled it was there nonetheless.)

It is one of my top fave techno songs. So far, I think I’ve only found it on YouTube 🥲
