Ok. So, unfortunately, my February book did not go as well as I had planned. This is a very busy month for me, and I have not had time to read. My mother is getting married at the end of the month, and I have been selected to help her plan it all out.

This is the book I have chosen. I am about half way through it, but the next 2 weeks are going to be hetic with the wedding coming up.

From what I've read so far, I would have to rate this book a 2 out of 5. I can not get into this book for the life of me. Maybe I'm just too old for it, if I were younger, I would probably give this book a better rating. I am going to try my hardest to finish the book though, and I will update this post as soon as I am finished with the book.

There are 5 teens who find themselves transported to Disney World when they go to sleep. Disney world is being threatened by all of the villians from all of Disney's stories. Led by Maleficent, the group who calls themselves "The Overtakers," are plotting to destroy Disney World from the inside out, amd maybe even more. It is up to Finn, amd four other teens to save not only Disney World, but the whole world!

Sounds freaking amazing, right!? I'm not sure if it is the way the book is written, the characters themselves, or the fact that I'm a 27 year old woman reading about 5 kids in middle school, but I can not get into it. Maybe I will try to read it with my niece and see if that helps some.

Carry on - Rainbow Rowell

It is the final year on magical scghol for the Chosen One, Simon Snow. He is prophesied to defeat the humdrum, an evil force that has been wreaking havoc on the world of mages for years; tearing magic eating holes in the universe. A tribute to Harry Potter, I thought I'd have the book figured out in no time. The book itself is pretty predictable, but to watch the story unfold was not as predictable. Simon's Destiny is to defeat the humdrum and bring peace to the universe. Raised as an orphan, in the human world, Simon is 11 years old before knowing anything about magic, or that fact that he is destined for great things. He has no control over his powers, and has a tendency to "go off." His school is his home, a place where he is a celebrity, and his girlfriend, Agatha, can't takes it. After the breakup, Simon is spending more time with his best friend, Penelope. Simon is so focused on his breakup with Agatha, he tries to distract himself with the mystery of his missing roommate, Baz, his enemy. Baz is a member of the old families, his mother, a former head of Watford. (Their school.) It is unlike Baz to miss the first week of school! His mother would kill him if she were alive! The old families have started to oppose the new mage, the head of Watford, and Simon is suspecting this to be the reason of Baz being gone.

This book follows these 4 teenagers on their journey through their last year of high school; breakups, hookups, ghosts, love triangles, arguments, learning who they can and can't trust, and, ultamently, finding a way to defeat the Humdrum for good; on top of still trying to find themselves, and their own sexualities.

8/10 I do recommend this book.
