Re: Rolling Stones Article

Reading that Rolling Stones article is great. To have them reaffirm what we as fans already knew is amazing. People really try to discredit the music One Direction created without even bothering to hear the growth of their sound!

I can speak for myself and say that after Take Me Home, I had grown out of anything pop really. I remember my sister and I getting ready to here the release of Best Song Ever music video because we had avoided hearing leaks. I told her I was worried I would not be into One Direction anymore, because that was not the style of music I gravitated towards. I was too busy going to pop punk shows and discovering my love for the 60′s - 70′s sound. We even talked about maybe not even going to the tour this time around. 

Imagine my breathe literally being taken away and my jaw dropping when the opening notes of Best Song Ever played. Hearing the synth intro from The Who “Baba O’Reily” and the heavy guitars and drums in the production; that solidified my love for One Direction and their music. 

The same can be said about Four and MITAM. They grew their sound with us.
