So...despite being injured....Jiang Cheng still....

- Manages to insult Wei Wuxian about how he owed the Jiang Clan for everything that they’ve done for him

- Claims that Wei Wuxian payed them back with betrayal

- Blames Wei Wuxian for the tragic fates of both Jiang Yanli/Jin Zixuan AGAIN...

- Rants about how Jiang Fengman favored him over his own son (there actually might be some truth to that)

- Rants about how Jiang Cheng always stood in the shadow of Wei Wuxian’s glory

- Rants about how he should be able to hate Wei Wuxian after everything and is angry that he feels sorry for him

- Demands to know why Wei Wuxian didn’t tell him about the core transfer (That is actually an understandable reason for being upset, but at this point...it feels kind of pointless)

- And the source of Jiang Chang’s anger....the real reason why he’s so upset....is because he feels that Wei Wuxian broke his promise because he vowed that he would stay by Jiang Cheng’s side forever....

- And then apologizes after Wei Wuxian apologizes to him (Personally, I don’t think WWX has anything to apologize for, but that might be just me.)

And with that, I’m done with Jiang Cheng.

Like 100% done.

I do not like Jiang Cheng anymore.

Fanon AU Jiang Cheng is great though.

But, canon!Jiang Cheng....nope.

Even if he was upset about the “broken promise” thing, Wei Wuxian is allowed to have AN ACTUAL LIFE OUTSIDE OF JIANG CHENG.

But it also does not make up for blaming WWX for everything that happened to him over and over again..
