1. Mereoleona supremacy all day every day. I LOVE that woman.
2. Nozel. I started of heavily disliking him, and now we're here. Stupid braid man, i love him 🥺
3. Fuegoleon. I just think he's neat. The first character that made me go oh I like you. Tbf, depending on mood I change between Nozel and Fuegoleon for 2&3
Then it gets a little harder to pick only 2 more.
4. Klaus. This nerd. I love him and all the tsundereness. You can try, but we see you care my man.
5. Sol. SHE IS HILARIOUS. Also "okay sis" "dont call me sis" "okay i wont sis". And the we dont want a man thing. I love her loads, she's a precious bean and heavily underrated (there's loads of great characters so i cant blame people)

Yes I selfship, but usually pretty discreetly cause I always feel a little embarrassed as well as vulnerable. (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)
Usually keep it a bit with friends. Bas, you’re actually one of the driving forces for making me feel comfortable to talk about selfshipping, and it’s been super therapeutic. Since you guys are mostly into OP and that's been one of my main obsessions too, I'll be keeping it at that.
Abhi, you're actually right, but you're still missing one. My main selfships in OP used to be Shanks and Ace, but those two had to make way for Izo lately, he's become a major comfort character lately!
There's some very soff selfshippy feels towards Kiku and Robin too, but actively selfshipping is mostly Shanks and Izo. Ace is becoming less and less because I am getting more and more conscious about the age difference, even though it's not really big and the age gap is way bigger with those other two, since they are WAY older than I am. And yet. Ace is baby. I do still love him loads, I am very weak for freckles and himbo energy UwU
It's mostly self comfort, I write short ficlets with them and short blurbs. It is very comforting, therapeutic and helping me reflect on what I'd want on a real life relationship.

Layla has a scar from a young age and I was thinking what happened at that small age. And actually I'd love to listen to the love interests of your OCs. Only if you wanna talk about it. No pressure. Easiest one first: Tae is a disaster. I am so sorry Killer, there is only more pain for you in the future („ಡωಡ„) Although, depending on how he'd play it, he could actually use Tae as someone on his side of things, depending on the time of day.
As for the others, Layla is a simple explanation: training gone wrong. She has been absolutely drilled and pushed to the edge, and in the beginning she was more than happy to do so. Even when her very first accident caused her to get such facial scars (the little ones across her cheeks) she didn't give up. Layla is riddled with scars of all kinds, a mix of little self-preservation, not knowing when to stop and a lot of training accidents. The one over her eye comes later, and is part of the reason why she turned on her family. It's an ugly story, that I hope to be able to tell you guys soon.

Mayu is tragic, sure, but she was treated well for a slave. She's a doctor, assigned to treat the slavekeepers most of the time, but every now and then she'd be allowed to treat fellow slaves that were strong enough to work still with some treatment. While the conditions were absolutely terrible, Mayu's story start when she's liberated, and it is only better things from there on out. Sure, there's PTSD, horrible things still happening and a lot of things to work through. But she will get there, and she will get to be happy.
Lott is more tragic, because she's destined to fail. She starts of wealthy, only to slowly lose everything one by one. I don't want to spoil too much in case I ever share the story, but Lott's story is not a happy one. She will lose her family, her wealth, her goals, her friends, her lover and her life all before reaching the age of 23. I have contemplated stopping somewhere in the middle of the tragedy to get her a happy ending, but it never felt right. For Lott... it wasn't meant to be.

I love BNHA, more than I thought I would! My top comfort characters are probably Mirio, Hawks and Kirishima. 2 bunches of sunshine that make me smile and 1 chicken that’s a bit of a dork with a little dark side. What else can I need?
I do like the wholesomeness of the characters themselves in contrast to the dark storyline (or at least in the manga). I dislike the general typical shounen aspects of it and how predictable it is. Like none of the twists is actually a twist? But man, the characters are just very good and lovable! Who are your favorites?

Hihi! Hi Mie! Thank you for stopping by! <3 I am so happy everyone is loving Tae, makes me real eager to actually work on her a bit! She is DEFINITELY a trickster. Her whole character started from me wanting a Kitsune fruit, finding out Catarina Devon had one, and then just making her a regular fox. I LOVE them. She is a trickster, a thief, a lowranking mischievous criminal who just wants to have fun and go on adventures.
13: What are their spending habits?
Well... she doesn’t have a lot of money, she grew up on the streets. Her spending habits are more so stealing habits, and she’s not necessarily picky. Expensive stuff is just as good as cheap stuff, any stuff is the good stuff. If she has any money she’ll spend it on food mostly. She’s very instinctive and will always go for primal needs first: food, shelter and affection. Still not sure if she’s gonna join the KP or another crew, I always jokingly say the position is open for the crew willing to give the best head scritches (spoiler: which is not the Kid Pirates, I am afraid)
19: Have they ever lost anyone close to them? How did it affect them?
She lost her whole family, but at such a young age that she actually doesn’t know who they were and what they lost. Living on the streets, she has lost all her mentor figures and caretakers over the years, only narrowingly escaping death/arrest herself. It’s made her less trusting of people, and made her more resilient. It’s what eventually made her steal a devil fruit to be able to protect herself better, although that came at the cost of her eyesight.
22: How do they react to criticsm?
Not? Depending on who it comes from she will
- brush it aside / Ignore it as in she’ll nod and keep doing exactly what she’s doing
- get defensive and argue about it. (doesn’t happen too often. She’s a brat, but doesn’t really thrive on arguments and such)
- put her hands over her ears and sing LALALALALALALALA until the person giving the criticism stops.
She’s not really much of a grownup, but a very fun character to play around with honestly!
