2. Notes, packers.
what is this? this is one of the notes to my masterlist.
for the packers recommendations i wanted to have different types recommended; something nicer that could be bought, and a easier option to be made at home. i chose two options like that because some people cant buy things like packers without backlash and i want everyone to be safe so you pick what you know you can do safely.
for the actual choices i chose, i want to have as many good options as possible for the ones that can be made at home. so i have diy options you have a crochet pattern, and a knitting pattern. i went and got ones that were free because i dont think resources should cost anything, so when i can help it ill get the free or cheaper options to recommend. i also attached videos as well as the patterns, so theres something to follow along to, to make it easier. and theres a article on how to make a sewn packer with a video tutorial there too. that article also covers how to make a harness strap, stp, and packing boxers.(i recommend using some kind of something to keep your packer in your boxers even if you make packing boxers just for extra security. a strip of trans tape to hold your packer to you or the inside of your boxers or a band aid, kt tape something like that id recommend that over safety pins i wouldnt want something sharp in your underwear just in case.)
for the silicone those three were the best most realistic and still cheap options i could find with packers there are certain things you want to look out for. softness, paint, mold/size, material. let me explain, when youre trying to make certain organs you need certain softnesses to be accurate. with a flaccid penis youd need the softest silicone available so it doesnt look like you have a erection. but the thing is soft silicone like that is expensive and its very delicate so that means anything using it is at risk of tearing it only has so long of a life span (1-2 years for a packer). so they try to make up for this by making the packer out of tougher silicone, which makes it harder which makes it looks like a erection because it wont stay down or squish right. Bigger, so its less delicate, again looks like a erection. or cheaper by not using silicone at all they might use other polymers or cyberskins which tend to flair up allergies and arent always completely safe for where the packer is going.
so the best thing to do is find a packer thats 100% medical grade silicone to avoid the allergies and sensitivity issues, soft enough and small enough so it doesnt look erect. and you also might want to have it painted so it looks realistic, for that its better to have the paint on the inside layer or have it sealed somehow so it doesnt rub off. with all that its easy for the price of a packer to skyrocket but, luckily there are still some good options the ones i think are the best are what i picked out.
now ill explain the difference between the softnesses. the one that says soft packer, i have labeled as more durable is soft, but still the tougher of the two. its soft enough and good enough to meet the criteria but because its a little tougher its less likely to tear. still itll have around the same shelf life, and torn packers can easily be repaired(cheaper then buying a more durable packer). but if you do alot of sports it might be better for you to have a durable packer instead of constantly repairing a super soft delicate packer if you dont want to go through the same process every time. (youd use sil-poxy to repair torn packers, sil-poxy has a shelf life of 18 months from the manufacturing date but once its opened the shelf life drastically decreases so it should be used immediately, and not bought in large quantities. here is the sil-poxy notes) now the softer delicate packer is called the super softey, and its made of softer more delicate silicone that needs to be powdered and taken good care of. this packer is the most realistic and cost effective one ive found so far, its 65-80$ while the more durable one is 142-212$. again silicone packers are very expensive but these are the best two ive found so far. most other realistic packers look great but arent soft like a dick and sometimes they look too veiny but this one doesnt have those issues either morme does look pretty veiny but its still pretty good and because it hits all the other criteria like its ok it can be veiny its still a great price and super soft and all that one more thing they all need to be taken care of differently the two softest which would be yourrules super softy and the morme need to be powdered and they all need to be washed with ph neutral soap(dove mens is ph neutral thats what was told to use) becasue theyre so delicate youre not meant to use hard harnesses that put to much strain also you can powder with corn starch
Heres more on what the yourrules look like this is what morme looks like morme is cut yourrules you could get cut or uncut with the soft you can specifiy with the super softey i dont think you can specify?
also you dont have to shave to use adhesive, but you do have to trim right above your genitalia and anywhere else you use the adhesive. but i recommend keeping the hair on your genitalia the length it already is. you don't want that too short just for bacteria reasons, your pubic hair keeps your junk from getting infections so its good to keep and not shave or trim to short. and lastly, how to position the packer you want the base of the shaft to start where your crotch dips and your genitals start. and you want to use whatever adhesive on the top part above the shaft. if you want extra security glue down the side edges too, its not as comfortable for everyone as just only sticking the top tab down but itll keep everything secure and the bottom of the packer wont wiggle around. i tried to find a video showing what i was talking about but most of the videos were using packers with a tab which tabs are great but not what were working with here. so i drew this instead. itll be under read more.
if youre curious about what adhesive to use go back to my masterlist or adhesives notes
