I used to be "skinny", and I was fucking miserable.
I'm a bit overweight now, and though I feel shame telling people I'm overweight....
The reality is, I'm way happier now than I ever was before. And as ironic as it is, I'm alot more confident in my body too. Yes I feel uncomfortable admitting I'm overweight, but that's out of fear of judgement, not because I dislike how I look.
Yeah, you might gain more weight than you want to in recovery, but on the other side, when you're truly on the other side, it won't bother you as much, if at all. And if you haven't gotten to that place...its because you haven't gotten to that place YET. You will get there IF you keep fighting.
