Let’s Go Buck Wild! 0/20,000
I’m going to try to write 20,000 words on my new reverse Witcher fanfic while waiting for the Worm Moon because why not!!! I can’t get the word counter to embed because computers don’t really like me. (If anyone knows how to get script to embed on a tumblr post - NOT to embed a tumblr post on a different site - pls advise. I can't do it.) So here we go, kids!
We Can’t All Be Shakespeare - Richie’s POV
Pairing: Richie Tozier/Eddie Kaspbrak
Summary: “Have you ever been in love?”
Oh, you’ve got to be fucking kidding me.
Richie’s heart really can’t take much more of this line of questioning. Physically or emotionally.
His eyes flicker, almost against his will, down towards Eddie as he forces out one syllable:
“Nope.”
It’s by far the biggest lie Richie Tozier has ever told.

Nano update Nov 10th
Okay, forgot to update here last night (again! Oops.)
So, yesterday I write 3153 words, and today I wrote 2821, which has me at a grand total of 20,485 words.
Go me.
I actually can’t believe I’ve managed this, but I’ve already bypassed my secret goal of reaching 20,000 words by the end of this weekend. I wrote 3000 words today! I never expected I could do so well at this. I’m so unbelievably proud of myself. Having 20,000 words of my novel written is unbelievable. I’ve never had so much of a piece of work. Here’s to the next 30,000 words!
"Crazy bitch." (Tentative silence) "... Mine." // Zephyr, Kaeleena.
"Mmm, crazy bitch that I am, and you—the spark that ignites the fires of my madness. Kant says a healer’s task is to discern which faculty of the mad person’s mind has faltered. Madness is an enigma my dear Beautiful Specter, a secret waiting to be uncovered, and this discovery belongs to the healer alone—a task that the mad cannot and should not undertake. Come and undo me until you fix me.
Yours."

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS AS A BASELINE FOR YOUR NANO DEAR LORD
And on to tonight's episode-
Joran now knows about the brain spore that not only forces soulmates together, but causes the countdown to their meeting. This fungus now has a name- chronos cordyceps.
He learns this from a blue video tape, which starts out like a 90s kids cartoon and then goes into horrible territory with the exposition.
Joran meets up with a girl named Ally, who possesses metallic video tapes similar to the one he just watched. She tells him about the People, a group her father belongs to. These folks don't have a timer, or any form of chronos cordyceps implants.
After some thought, Joran decides to go with Ally to the People. However, he plans to take his four-year-old sister Jibby and his best friend Teosur.
Teosur is enamored by the idea of soulmates, so it'll be hard to convince him. But Joran has A Plan. I'm certain it will not go wrong in any way at all :)
Also- minor word fixes, tweaks to bring me over the 20000 line
Confused? You won't be after- okay, maybe you will without access to the draft.
20,000 weekend challenge update #5
Guess what?
I did it!
14:33 GMT on the clock on Sunday and I’ve written 20,000 words. Oh BOY!
Honestly, I don’t know how I did it. I feel a little empty and strange inside now, though, like I just marathoned a show and now I don’t know what to do with myself. And, yet again, there is that AWESOME thing where I look back at the first things I wrote (I had a fancy ball scene) and it seems like I wrote them YEARS ago. But no, the proof is in the Word doc title: 20k weekend.
And that makes me exactly 298 words away from my Camp NaNo goal. I’ll bash that out at some other point this week though - I think I need a break.
I’ve done it, guys! I’m not really sure how, but I’ve done it!
