Now, I was in a sci fi mood, but it's hard to work this particular word into that without it sounding awkward. So congrats, this is aimed at a very narrow audience that includes you!

"I'll pay double," the man said. He was still dripping blood on the wooden floor, and Telly could already tell that was going to be a bitch to get out.

Telly laughed. "You could hardly afford to pay my regular fee, how do you plan to come up with enough for double?"

The man hesitated, clearly without an answer, and Telly idly wondered if he should charge for the cleaning fee. It wasn't his usual style, but there was something inky in the blood that made him think that shelling out for a professional cleaning might be a good idea.

He turned away. "Get out of here. Find someone else to rob your cult mansion."

"Wait!" The man called. Telly didn't hesitate, until he said, "I can pay upfront!"

Telly tapped the knife hidden in his coat in thought. If the man had just been hesitating because he had the money, but didn't want to hand it over, that was a different story. Bleeding someone dry was exactly Telly's style. He turned around, though he didn't walk back. "How?"

The man reached into his pocket and withdrew a large green gem. "This." He said, sounding defeated. "It's all I have. It's magic, but if I give it to you, you gotta be successful. You have to get what I need."

Telly's instincts were purring. Someone driven to desperation rarely was trying to screw him over. It was the best insurance you could get.

"Alright," he said, smiling cheerfully now. "So, you needed an accursed mansion robbed? Tell me, what kind of cult will I be avoiding while I'm in there?"

Yes, to both! I like cooking because I can do anything I want with it and follow a recipe as loosely as I want. And I like baking because you absolutely gotta follow the recipe exactly, or Things Will Go Wrong. And I like eating good food, so.

Either, on different occasions. Iced tea is very refreshing. But I think I prefer hot tea. I have so many varieties that I carry around with me, I really really like jasmine tea and lapsang souchong

04: do you believe the theory that dreams are parallel worlds we visit while we sleep?

I do not believe it, but damn that'd be cool. Somewhere, I really did abandon everything I know and vanished off the face of the earth. Somewhere, I did start running heists with people who suspiciously resembled the crew from Inception. Somewhere, my college friends really did penetrate layers of deception and misleads with the sole purpose of holding a ten year reunion.

And that's fantastic. That me is living their dream. And that me's friends are trying to ruin it.

10: have you ever had any paranormal experiences?

I want to have a really cool story for this, but any paranormal experience I've had, I've had to help build myself. Which means that last year, I participated in a necromantic ritual that was part of someone's final. And I've gone unsuccessfully ghost hunting a few times. And once I helped with a Halloween ritual that involved sacrificing large amounts of ramen.

But I've never experienced anything paranormal that I didn't create.
