November 28, 2001 - Ringo Starr's children Zak and Lee Starkey (aged 31) get into a Boston Cab after leaving Brigham Women's Hospital where she is undergoing radiation treatment for cancer. It was the same rare form known as an ependymoma that she had six years earlier, in 1995 when she was 24.
Again, the tumour was curable and nowadays she lives in a healthy condition.
