The new year is literally days away and I can't wait to see what is to come. But, before we look forward lets take one last flashback to trends I saw everywhere this year.

Feathers: This boho trend made a huge splash in 2011. It was seen on so many celebrities including Selena Gomez (above), Dianna Agron, Drew Barrymore, Vanessa Hudgens and more.

Nail polish Stickers: Now intricate nail patterns are no longer a thing from nail salons only. With nail polish stickers you get a huge selection of patterns that are easy to apply. Feel like a celeb with an awesome DIY manicure.

Lace: This sexy trend shows some skin in a more subtle way. Seen on Kim Kardashian, Kristen Stewart(above) , Emma Stone and more.

Side Braid: The undone side braid is a go to style to add an casual edge to an outfit (and it's also great for a bad hair day). It's been seen on Rachel McAdams (above), Audrina Patridge, Miley Cyrus, Amanda Seyfried and more.

Platform heels: This is not just a trend that will stay in 2011. Platform heels are a genius way to add extra height and reduce the incline of the shoe. It's been seen on, well pretty much every women celebrity.

Maxi dresses/skirts: A comfy trend usually in a floral print is great with most body types. It was seen on Eva Mendez(above), Kourtney Kardashian, Nina Dobrev and more.
