Congrats America, these mid-term elections that y'all just sat around an ignored led to Republicans controlling the House AND the Senate, meaning 2/3rds of our government are under the finger of the folks who shut it done and stood in the way of every progressive thing down in the past 6 years (and lets be honest, many more than that.) How old are you right now? How old will you be in 2016? Because its OUR future on the line here, and I for one don't wanna deal with the kind of bullshit coming out of the woodworks now.

Just a quick reminder: Research your senators and representatives, chances are, Republicans will be against: -Women's right to choose, and the inclusion of birth control for insurance coverage. -The progression of LGBTQ & Friends rights. -The admission and correction of really ANY cultural and privilege based differences -Balancing out the economy in favor of people at or below the poverty line. (Don't let words sway you, most of these folks are business owners, or investors. They will throw money where it will grow for them and them alone.)

And those are the first things that pop to mind, without spending the rest of my night seething and researching. So, Millennials, Generation Xanga, whatever the fuck we are: If you live in the US, whether you agree with the capabilities of Democracy or not, just get out and vote for the lesser of the fucking evils. Our government isn't going to just go away anytime soon, and the very least we can do is get loud about the direction of our future. With any luck, I'll be able to get information about who runs and update this post so people can check back in and educate themselves. How many fucking US users are on here? Can we PLEASE start putting those numbers to use and not hate ourselves all the way into adulthood?
