Just pure speculation here, but...
What if the films that happened to have people/actors of color, we're not nominated simply because they were not Oscar worthy? I mean, this happens nearly every time when the Golden Globes and Oscars come up. There are films that are either recognized by the Hollywood Foreign Press but not the Academy, and vise versa. At times, a film that many critics believed to be worthy of such praise is not praised at all by either awards. Honestly, what if these films were just not worthy?I have a whole idea of how I believe these award shows seem to distribute these awards, but I guess I won't delve into it at this time, unless asked.
