This is what I thought of 2016 😜😝
True Story:
2015 tried to kill me using migraines, my lying ex, and depression.
Woke up January 2015 with a migraine that lasted like 38 days so I have to take medicine every single night.
My ex broke my heart, crushed my self esteem, and after several months, still gives me anxiety so bad I shake and hyperventilate
Well with constant pain and feeling like I was not worth anything to someone who meant the whole world to me, I was depressed. I wanted to sleep all the time. My mood was over-all negative and so I wrapped myself in music and went back to basics. My parents took my ex away and the weight of the world with him. I learned how to avoid migraines. Bye 2015!
Here’s what I learned:
If someone makes you feel like trash; get away from them. You are loved and you are lovely <3
It’s okay to not lift someone up if they are pulling you into your grave
Healing comes with time
Forgiving yourself is super-duper freaking important. It is okay not to be perfect. You are only human, just breathe
1- Sometimes family can break your heart, but at the end of the day you can’t stay angry at them because they’ll always have your back. 2- Loneliness can crush you hard, there’s nothing worse than to feel alone while being surrounded by people. 3- It’s ok to like popular music and sing along them in the car and with friends, that doesn’t mean that you don’t have a personality. 4- Appreciate your culture and traditions, they mean a lot to you and there’s no need to hide them. 5- Don’t stay awake until the sun comes out, and wake up when it’s already going down, just because it’s summer break doesn’t mean that you should waste your time like that. 6- Eat and drink water. 7- Don’t believe in every cute word a guy says to you, sometimes they aren’t true. 8- Experiment, do and re-do, don’t be scared to try new things. 9- Your friends will become a huge part of your life, stay close to them. 10- Do your eyebrows, the sooner the better. 11- Don’t let people use you just because you don’t speak english. 12- If you don’t wanna speak that’s ok, but the more you speak the easier it gets. 13- You’re gonna stop talking to him, just like that, and maybe that was for the best. 14- Don’t self-harm it isn’t going to change anything and you’ll have to use concealer in your arms the first days of school to cover the scratches. 15- Stop stressing, focus on what’s really important (that english crossword puzzle doesn’t count as much as that bio test)
