Holy Crap what a ride it’s been! With my writer studiously following Murphy’s Law, struggling through misfortune after misfortune, delaying us to the very last minute. Either way, I’ve had fun and enjoyed the cooperation with her. Artistically I’ve challenged myself and developed A LOT during this. @thefriendlypigeon for reminding me of my love for animation. Their fantastic animations are, when push comes to shove, what made me spend three days painting the walk cycle for the cat in the background of the last pic.
And lastly - @feredir because for me to strive to get better I need someone to look up to and aim for. Whose style is close enough to my own for me to relate, but different enough not to compete. When I was little it was Lena Furberg, a Swedish artist who draws horse comics. Today it’s Feredir. Especially their simpified stuff that captures spot-on portrait likeness with a minimum of lines and shading. Just.... wow.
Aaaand, I asked my writer how much artistic freedom I had. The answer was as much as I like. But if I made Cas green, with tentacles, the art might not be incorporated into the fic. Naturally, I immediately had to make him green with tentacles. ;) So here’s a bonus doodle:

Summary:
