Dear BTS

A lot can be said. I’ve been ARMY since the beginning of the year, a time where I needed help. Where I was so alone and scared and I didn’t know who to turn to. I didn’t have a reason to live and I believed I wasn’t worth it. I felt like this for so long until I discovered BTS. These seven boys who literally changed my life and saved me. They may not know it but they saved my life.

These boys have worked so hard. Pushed so hard to get where they are. And while I may not have been aware at the time of their struggles but I learned about them. I learned how they weren’t loved, people looking down on them. They were told they’d fail and they were discouraged. Yet is been six years since debut and they have become the most popular and powerful group I’ve even seen.

These boys have been on a journey and along with was ARMY. These boys have shown people, have shown their fans and shown the world the true meaning of loving yourself.

They saved me. I may sound like I’m exaggerating but it’s the truth. Because of them I am a sister, daughter and friend. Because of them they have showed me that I am worth it. That I am important and that I have a reason to wake up everyday and smile. They showed me that your perfect in everyday. From your personality to your features.

And to never let people bring you down. To know that your above them and to know that your the best you can ever be. BTS has helped in loving myself. They showed me who I can really be. They were my heroes. They showed me to take off the mask I wore and to show myself to the world. To show people and tell them that I am not afraid. That I am here, that I am able to love myself.

Because of BTS I spoke out. I told people what I was dealing with. I was saved because of them. BTS are my heroes. They showed me my true self. They pushed me to be a better person. They pushed me to be happier. They pushed me to love every inch of myself.

BTS isn’t just a regular boy band. They’re heroes for so many people. They have saved so many people and helped so many people. And I hope that they continue helping people and I hope that they are also able to be happy. To love themselves and to show people the true side of them without having to feel like they’re being judged.

Obviously there are people in the world you won’t be nice. They can be vicious, cruel and disgusting. But don’t let them or their words weigh you down. Because as long as you know who you are and you know that your loved and you know how to love yourself than that is all that matters.

MAMA 2018 Awards. When BTS preformed tonight I was watching through my screen. And in that moment I felt like I was right in front of them, I felt like I was in that arena and they were right in front of me.

These boys have done so much. They have showed so much and support and have done so amazing and have pushed past the boundaries. When I was watching that preformance I couldn’t help but cry. When they told us to show ourselves I couldn’t help but cry as I thought about how they helped me. How they showed me to take my mask off.

BTS said they can be our heroes. But they’re already our heroes. They have already saved millions of lives and helped so many. Because of this I’m happy to say I’m apart of such a loving and amazing community of people. I’m glad to say I support BTS and that I am ARMY.
