(*most impt) Learn to love yourself. You can love yourself just because you try to get close to perfection. You can shut that negative voice up by reminding yourself that this was the reason why you fell for other people. This was reason enough to love them. This is more than reason enough to love yourself too.
Simply put, you cannot be everything. You cannot help everyone.
You are loved. Deeply. The universe actually loves you SO MUCH. It has always appeared to help when you needed it, it has always supported you when you required it. Trust the universe more than you trust that negative, loser voice. You’re powerful with the universe at your side.
Don’t seek validation. People, when they offer “advice”, aren’t really trying to help in most cases. They’re subconsciously trying to fill a void either by telling you your dreams won’t come true or by degrading you and pointing out your flaws. Do not seek validation. Trust yourself more.
Continuing from (4), ‘hurt’ people hurt others. PLEASE, for the love of outlast, try not to be so hurt that you have to lash out at others. Try not to be so empty that you have to pull others down to bring yourself up and fill the emptiness.
Do not fit in. Standing out feels so good. It’s so liberating to not have to fit into the labels people throw at you or do things to fit into a certain cliche. Being an outcast, a stand-out, a leader, means being free. Do NOT follow others. Do NOT be someone else. Be yourself, even if you have to be alone because of it.
Continuing from (6), choose to lead. Choose to set your own standards, than following those laid down by others. Be exceptional in everything you do. Lead, my warrior. Do not fade into the crowds.
Stand up for yourself. Fiercely, loudly, proudly. Love yourself immensely and BE THERE for yourself.
Remember always, fear does not prevent death. It prevents LIFE.
Shut your mouth at times and listen. At times, do this to prevent a further argument or meaningless gossip. Look, yes, stand for yourself, but know when it’s time to turn away, when you have more meaningful things to do.
We’re all the same. Everyone is made of the same skin and bones. There’s no need to feel insecure because someone seems to be better than you and neither is it important to feel all high and mighty because you seem to be better. People? They’re all you. Spread more love.
“We’re meant to hurt.” I must accept being broken again and again just so I can mend stronger. The universe’s support will help me overcome the pain anyway. Hurt is the vehicle for change.
Forgive those you hurt you. It might be so hard for me to love my parents but I must learn to, so I can be kinder to myself and not carry unnecessary burdens.
2018 was brilliant. I’m ready to see the magic 2019 casts.
