You are not doomed to be your parents. You can break the cycle. You can be whoever you want to be. But you will pay a price. Lately, I have this feeling that the books I’ve been reading are directly speaking to me as if I was living the life of the fucked up main characters in reality. It’s funny and comforting at the same time. The ugly thoughts that I can’t put into words are printed in books and the fact that I was not the only one who had such thoughts is really comforting. 

These are YA novels, but I consider it my self-help books. And I have a strong feeling that this book is about to give me another hit in the head. My pleasure to have it.
