So by the end of the year, I was a bit saddened that I didn’t hit the reading mark I’d set for myself at the beginning of 2018. But then I remembered. I set that goal thinking I would continue to be a stay at home mom. But I started a full time job, and got pretty close to that reading goal while working full time for 8 months. Looking back now, I’m pretty proud.
Plus, who lets a little defeat get them down? This year, I challenge myself to read 40 books. It will be a challenge as both a mother and full time worker. But I challenge myself to enjoy my personal time lost in a world of fantasy. I look forward to attempting to reach that goal. And if nothing else, to beat my personal record from this year.
