Reading in 2019 - December Edition
I exceeded my book goal for the year! It’s nice to have the last two weeks of the year off to catch up on some reading. Didn’t read everything on the Read Harder Challenge list--there were just too many other books I wanted to read this year!
I’ll do another post later about the Challenge books I read, my top books of the year, and goals for 2020, which are pretty similar to this year’s goals. More to come...
- 54/50 books read this year
- 12/24 books on the Read Harder Challenge
- 10/10 items on the Reading Glasses Challenge
2. Hark! A Vagrant by Kate Beaton
3. Step Aside, Pops by Kate Beaton
4. Know My Name by Chanel Miller
5. The Candle and the Flame by Nafiza Azad
6. This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mothar and Max Gladstone
7. What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Blacker: A Memoir in Essays by Damon Young
8. Magic for Liars by Sarah Gailey
1. Le Morte Darthur by Sir Thomas Malory, Translated by Helen Cooper
(The goal with this book was to have it be something I read in bits and pieces over the year, but that didn’t really happen. It’s an interesting read, but a slow one. I’m not sure if I’ll continue it in 2020.)
