February 20, 2019: King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the closing session of the “World Law Congress (WLC)” of the “World Jurist Association (WJA)” where King Felipe received the “World Peace & Liberty Award”.

In its 55-year history, the WJA has only awarded the “World Peace & Liberty Award” to three notorious international personalities: former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and Nobel Peace Prize laureates Nelson Mandela and René Cassin, father of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the UN.

背伸びをしたって届かない

19/02/20 晴れのちくもり

頭痛のため遅刻。いつもより人通りの少ない通りを歩いて駅へと向かう。信じられないくらいの晴天。日向ぼっこでもしたいものだと思っていたら、午後からはどんどんと濁った空に。天気の話ばかりしてもつまらないな。でも仕事の話を克明に書くのもはばかられるから、なるべく自分の話をしよう。これは日記のような散文。

頭を何度振っても思考が回らない。ラテで摂取できるカフェインなんてたかが知れているんだろうか。こんな日は自宅の布団に潜って気の向くまま寝ていたいのに、あいにくここは執務室。少しでも空気がいい場所へと逃げ込み、座布団に座って本棚にもたれる。いくつになっても胃腸が弱いのは治らない。キャラメルラテを自分で作れるようになれたら、さぞ節約になるだろう。

乾ききらない爪にもう片方の手が触れて、指紋の形にネイルがよれた。トップコートを重ねれば、何事もなかったかのように元に戻るから素敵だ。傷がついても、穴が空いても、なくならない限りはなんとかなる。
