Today's grimoire progress! Having my layout and my rough draft to work from makes me so happy and productive. This is gonna be a book I can reference soon! ♡
Materials
this side blog will be my grimoire! this means almost all of the content will be my own. i may take inspiration from other sources, but in the end i want what i post to be mine.
to kick off this account, inspired by @2019grimoirecchallenge i will show the materials for my grimoire!
of course, theres the grimoire itself.
its badly editted to have a pastel background, but you still get the general effect! i tied the ribbon around it sorta as a way to bind the contents to the book, and keep the book hidden from the sight of others. i think it’s pretty neat!
going along with the grimoire, i have a sort of “throwaway grimoire”
i use this to basically write down the info i want to go inside my grimoire and do drafts for the decoration of each page. it also wont necessarily harm me if its found and looked through because i can easily explain it away, which is why theres no ribbon.
next up, decoration! such as pictures and washi tape!
I have lots of pastels and anime shit, bc thats what i like!!!!
next up, writing sticks!
i mostly use my tombow brush pens and my microns! i use a random brand of fineliners for writing, tombows for headers, and microns for illustrations!
thats basically is for my materials! i may use the occasional copic of colored pencil, and ill list individual materials w each full post, but these are my basics!
2019 Grimoire Challenge
Week Two, Wednesday
Wednesday- Through your craft, how do you perceive the world, life, death, the afterlife? What is the order of the cosmos in which you work?
I've already done most of the prompts posed before this challenge began, but I just finished the topic for Wednesday, so I figured I would share some of my work. There are some redactions, due to it being a fair bit controversial and personal to me.
|☆| Note: Page two of this shall not be posted. Ever. Sorry not sorry. |☆|
The Elements as Frame of Reference- Or Why I Don't Invoke the Quarters
The Elements as Frame of Reference- Or Why I Don’t Invoke the Quarters
This week’s #2019GrimoireChallenge prompts include a focus on the elements and other energies that we work with on our respective paths. Having finished up some of the work through the elements in both my OBOD coursework and in my re-reading of The Earth Path, I’ve been thinking much about the elements and how I work with them in my own path.
By the elements of course, I mean Earth, Air, Fire,…

I have enough pages numbered to have all the sub-headers in my grimoire labeled! Sabbat pages have been labeled, and I even added my natal personality on the natal overview page.
Now that everything is structured, I can hop around day by day and fill in whatever my whims dictate! I'm so excited.
The beginnings of my crystal pages! Personalizations will come later, but for now, the outlines.
Look at my big ass book.
Am I behind on the @2019grimoirecchallenge?
Yeah.
Did my perfectionist ass finally decide on a way to organize my index?
HELL YEAH!
Time to celebrate the little things! Woohoo!
