Water, from The Four Elements, 1984
Artist: Erté
Seen a couple people pointing out that The Goat has been destroyed by two of the four elements now (fire and wind) but when you think about it it's actually been destroyed by water too
In 2023 the giant bird flock was caused by lots of grain being left on the straw
This was due to the summer having been unusually wet making the grain difficult to remove
So in conclusion:
✅ Fire
✅ Water
✅ Air
🔲 Earth

- Air: Which symbolizes communication, ideas, and inspiration, Air is an abstract and unconfined element that cannot be contained whatsoever. Its energy is formless and exists on a conceptual level, representing your thoughts and intentions. Furthermore, Oxygen, a vital component of Air, sustains cellular respiration and life itself. In spellwork, Air functions as the affirmation, as it reflects the expression of your intention and the message you are sending out into the universe. As a result, Air embodies the power of thought, speech, and mental clarity, making it a key element in any spellwork for manifestation purposes. 🌬️🫧
- Earth: Which symbolizes grounding, stability, foundation work, and planting seeds. Earth is an abundant energy that provides the resources for material growth. It’s steady and secure, yet can be unpredictable at the same time, as its foundation can shift depending on external circumstances. Overall, Earth remains consistent so long as you respect and honor Mother Nature and appreciate her generosity and provision. Remember, only harvest what you need. Additionally, Earth can be used in spells related to prosperity, protection, money, and more. Its versatility allows for various components in spellwork, such as herbs, crystals, salt, and other natural elements. 🌱🌎
- Water: Which symbolizes emotional healing and intuition. Water is a purifying and nourishing element that fosters spiritual growth and deeper awareness. Like a mirror, Water can symbolize reflection and can be a powerful tool for introspective purposes. Its fluid nature allows it to flow and adapt effortlessly. Essentially, embodying transcendence. But just as waves crash onto the shore, Water can represent both transformation and strength. Additionally, Water can be used in spells related to healing, accountability, illusion, cleansing, or self-discovery, to name a few. It’s truly a versatile element that supports emotional and spiritual enlightenment in all aspects. 🌊 ✨
- Fire: Which symbolizes vitality, purification, divinity, and rebirth, Fire is both destructive and cleansing. Its flames are consuming yet transformative, as it clears stagnant energy to make way for new beginnings. As the light in the darkness, Fire illuminates hidden truths and sparks insight. It’s a swift-moving energy that quickly energizes and activates your spells. But Fire offers warmth, passion, and inspiration, it ignites your intentions and encourages forward and intentional movement. Fire can be used in nearly all types of spellwork, from candle magic to rituals like scrying and burning intentions. 💥✨

As I’m sick I have decided to sort herps (amphibians and nonaurchasaur reptiles) into the clinical health four elements.
Lizards are fire. They prefer hot/dry environments.
Salamanders are water. They prefer cold/wet environments.
Frogs are air. They prefer hot/wet environments.
Snakes are earth. They prefer cold/dry environments.
This is all over generalizing exaggerations, and I am not a herpetologist. Just an ecology major who is board and procrastinating sleep.

“…"Time disappears into outer action or inner impulses. Into doings, cravings, or dreamings. But human time is conscious time. And this has been lost, destroyed. In its place there is now animal time (doing, moving about, preying on others, eating, building, killing, etc.); plant time (dreaming, languishing, imagining); or “mineral” – that is, mechanical – time: the time of devices such as clocks and computers. What we call logical thinking is often just an internal version of these lifeless machines. Implicitly, we even take pride in the mechanicity of our thinking when, forgetting the metaphorical origin of the usage, we refer to a computer’s “intelligence.” This is mental time, “mineral” in its rigidity and sterility. We lay this logical cement over organic life out there and in ourselves. Carried to its extreme, this becomes the mindset that measures the whole of human life solely by the “bottom line.” “In the Old Testament the lower world is called Sheol. Here there are no images of raging fire. No cacophonous sounds. No sulfurous fumes. Sheol is simply and solely the place of shadows, dark, weak existence, continually fading, ever-paler life. Sheol is the realm of diminishing being.“ -by Jacob Needleman from “Money and the Meaning of Life” [via “Alive On All Channels”]
