So this was 2018! I’ve already gotten all sentimental about how great this year was, but I’m going to do it again! 2018 was the first year in my “adult” life that I stuck to one thing and really went for it, and thanks to all you wonderful people out there on the gram, at the mushroom festivals we jammed on and swooping up art goods from the shop, it was AMAZEBALLS! . For the previous decade I’ve been cobbling together an assortment of carpentry, architecture, freelance illustration and occasional showings of personal work to check all my Western Capitalist Boxes, and it’s been aight. But this year, no siree, straight down the middle trying to make it with art! It has been a serious struggle both mentally & logistically to keep it rolling, but every new follower, every purchase from the site, every awesome event we attended full of kind words about the work, all of it combined has kept me above water & truckin’ along. .
