ANYTHING for you! This is based on updates on Twitter/people’s comments in my inbox/my own personal experience

Reza’s Dinner: Absolutely, despicably boring. Not a single scene was started. Where was the Magick protest outside?? Why weren’t ppl interrogating Reza to the third degree?? Where was the long-lost relative responsible for the initial article leak, come now to get his revenge and reveal Reza’s stash of objectifying fairy porn or something?  I was really hoping this would turn into one giant game of Clue-- we’d find Reza murdered in his own house, get locked in one giant room together, and yell at each other until one of us cracks under the pressure. It was Toulouse by the stairs with the leg of mutton! No, it was Phineas in the kitchen with a giant bottle of curl-fortifying shampoo! Alas, there was not even One Murder.  

Al’s Potluck: Sweet and Cute and Good For Your Health. We saw a lot of flirting at this event tbh-- I’m looking at you Lachlann and you Seamus, but also Haru and Jun, both disturbing concepts I don’t want to think about anymore!!! Who knew that potatoes could be such an aphrodisiac? 

Shock’s Haunted House: A rip-roaring good time! 10/10, though there was ALSO a suspicious lack of murder! Really the only newsworthy thing that happened was Ashle Boulet going in with Candy... and never coming out again ;) JK, they did, but this is not the first time they’ve been seen together, which makes me think that Candy is Assimilating into the Ashley Hive Mind. Wonder how Phineas is gonna feel about that? 

Aquata’s Walk-a-Thon: Surprisingly ok because of # of cute dogs, could have used less walking.

Honestly! You’re right!

And just to play devil’s advocate against my previous devil’s advocate (because I’m unpredictable like that), why is Swynlake assuming that Adella’s din-din with Al means a betrayal of Adella’s principles? Didn’t Al say in his speech that through conversations with lots of his women friends, he learned how to correct some harmful toxic behaviors?? 

What if Adella was Womansplaining to him how to be a good man? 

Maybe he was getting a Magick lesson! 

Shouldn’t we celebrate the #Aldella connection for reaching across the aisles?

Okay, devil’s advocate over. Hey @alzcomicbarn, let the record show that I have always thought you were a dish too!

tbh I think you're right... even if it is just a date, adella fraternizing with someone with an anti-magick record is YEET

Well, I rest my case.

Going on one date with Al means nothing. Adella went on like 4 dates with different people in September and nobody is talking about that. I don’t see why Aquata would have to make a comment considering Al and Adella have clearly both moved on. How about instead of speculating about people’s love lives you focus on the real issues of the election?

Because this is WAY more fun!!!!!!

Also it’s absolutely relevant. If I were Reza or Shock, I’d want to know why just a few weeks before Aquata’s grand campaign debut, her sister was seen with former board member Al McWiggin. It literally could be nothing-- just a date after all, maybe she was asking Al for tips for Aquata, completely oblivious to Al’s intent to run again. If it is innocent, I don’t see why Aquata can’t simply clarify. 

Especially considering Aquata’s running on such a pro-magicks platform. 

And Al is not. 

If I were thinking about voting for Aquata OR Al, I’d want to know. :)

since al's date with adella didn;t work out (yeet).... who SHOULD he date?

Why are we assuming it didn’t work out? 

Seriously. I have yet to get any response from Adella, Al, or even Aquata Triton about the current status of her relationship with Al McWiggin, and we’d all be much too naive if we didn’t realize it’s exactly because of the election. No idea why Aquata thinks it’s a good idea to go zip when there’s a possibility of corruption or collusion here. 

Soooooo did they press pause until it was over? Or are they still seeing each other secretly? Like, I’m just saying, but a romantic dinner at Remy’s isn’t usually first-date material. First date is a coffee and pie slice at Hatter’s. Don’t we all agree? 

And so #Aldella lives until I’m told otherwise. 🤷
