ハードカバー用のブックカバーが欲しくて、表紙の縦横の長さを測り、これは一体どのサイズになるんだ？と検索しても全く合いそうなサイズが出てこない。微妙〜にどれも小さいか大きい。
何冊か同じ大きさのハードカバーもあり、そんなに特殊なサイズでもなさそうなのに何故？？みなさんハードカバーはハードだからカバー掛けずに読んでるの？？？
と首を傾げていたら、長さを測るべきは表紙ではなく本文用紙だったことが判明しました。あ、そういうこと……。サイズは四六判と呼ばれているものでした。
ハードカバー、家だったらカバーを掛けずに読んでいるのですが、流石に外に持ち出す時にはカバーを掛けたい。本棚は人を表すと言うぐらいなので、選ぶ本もあれですよね、自分をさらけ出してますよね……。
