Nearly End of 2023
Hello everyone who always follows and reads my blog here. I know it has been a very long time again. My life this year has been very struggling starting from work to family, however, I can settle them one by one partially and fully.
In April 2023, the first day of Khmer New Year, I was burnt due to my house praying room's fire. It was 3rd degree burn which needed to use Skin Graft for treatment. It has been 7 months since then, and the burn becomes scar on my skin. It disturbs me somehow at the beginning, but now I am used to it.
My family is the second one. Not my small family is the cause, but it is affected by the relatives. I don't wanna dig it out here , but just want to state that it is too much to accept. Now, I can justify myself to such atmosphere, and I can live my life again.
last month, I was ordained as a monk for 4 days as Khmer tradition, son must become a monk once in life. The 4 days at pagoda always in the room reading Dharma book and meditation. It helps me lots for being calm and mindful. It is not long enough to learn Dharma but enough for me to understand myself and life as a humanbeing, how to deal with people, and being calm and patient. Thanks to Venerable monks over there to take care of me during the time.
While bad things around this year, the best thing also comes along. Sophiya, my third adorable only daughter, come to our life on June 8, 2023. The name comes from Greece name, which means Knowledge. The writing is based on Khmer Pronunciation. She brightens our life, fulfills our missing, and makes everything better again. This cute rabbit is a lucky star in our family. Her smile all the time makes us relieve our stressful time. We, parents and brother Thit/nouk, love her so much.
