The dirt, grass, and trees your mirror

Angel wrapped in wings of gloom

Tandem selves reflect light from the deep pools of your widened eyes,

each beautiful and profound.

Earthbound man with a knife in his chest

who plunged it there himself. Who takes the  handle and turns it.
