Paris Olympics Combat Sports Start Times - July 27th

Not going to do this for every day but since the Olympics start in this weekend, just going to throw a couple of start tims up for people who are looking to tune in.

JUDO

4 am ET - Women's -48 KG and Men's -60 KG: Includes first 3 rounds (round of 32, 16, and quarterfinals)

10 am ET - Women's -48 KG and Men's -60 KG: Repechage, Semifinals, and Finals.

If you are a fellow American looking for American competitors, the only one competing on Saturday will be Maria Celia Laborde at women's 48 kg at 4am ET.

BOXING - All Round of 32 bouts

9:30 am ET - Women's 54 KG

10:18 am ET - Women's 60 KG

11:06 am ET - Men's 63.5 KG

11:38 am ET - Men's 80 KG

2:00 pm ET - Women's 54 KG

2:48 pm ET - Women's 60 KG

3:36 pm ET - Men's 63.5 KG

4:08 pm ET - Men's 80 KG

Again, if you're looking for an American to root for, the only one competing on Saturday will be Jajaira Gonzalez, who will be competing in the women's 60 KG division at like 3:20 pm ET.

I Visited the lovely garden under the Eiffel Tower this week while waiting for visitors to descend from their climb to the top. (I still can't believe this area and these trees could be the ones at risk and where the proposed project "blends greenwashing with concrete" just to transform the Eiffel Tower site into part of the 2024 Olympic Games. Does the Parisian mayor really plan the destruction of dozens of these trees I strolled through this week. I thought she actually cared about ecology in her quest to turn Paris into a city without cars. I worried when I saw two people in uniform taking measurements of the trees in this area. How art brings light to all people

I was recently watching the Paris 2024 Olympics whilst preparing for my online finals exam in cybersecurity as I love all sports which inspired me to write this post. The Olympic sport which was showing was breakdancing. It was interesting, entertaining and something different to watch. It made me think a bit about the time when I took up parkour, which was a weekend hobby of mine back many years ago shortly after completing high school. I must say the extensive amount of training these athletes do over many years in which they only have a small window to perform on the big stage is quite full on.

In this world, we are exposed to many different ideas where we can self-express in many different ways. Here in this example the main theme in art allows us to see things in more ways and helps shed light to different situations. It could be an inspirational song, a particular movie scene or a family activity you did with the kids. The point is the experimentation process is where it all starts. 

My one is writing and connecting to people through this medium and engaging with my martial arts practice. Exploring and traveling is the most natural and organic way of doing this. Here in this example is through walking outdoors as this helps me refresh and find ideas which I really enjoy.
