White Christmas in Brittany!

Some might dispute the "whiteness" of this landscape, but there was a light coat of white on the ground and some flakes in the air in the morning, so, given how rare this is in Western France, I'm counting it as a White Christmas! We had my sister's dog as a guest, so that provided an excuse to get out, despite the cold.

It was a fantastic, cosy week, featuring the aforementioned dog, my other sister, Mum and Dad, complete with telescope - he's taken up astronomy, and had some great sky gazing conditions. Dad and my sister also baked us some treats - shortbread and seasonal muffins!

Time to plan some hikes to walk off the excesses!
