灯屋さんでほうじ茶のシフォンケーキをいただく。
11時までだと飲み物にモーニングのフレンチトーストが付くんですが、私たちが着いたのは11時10分頃。ギリギリアウトの時間です。残念。

羽豆神社のある小さな山に登っていくと、眼下にはこの景色。
名古屋からそれほど離れていないところでこんなに旅行気分が味わえるとは思いませんでした。まあ、海無し県民には海を見せておけば喜ぶというチートな条件もあるのですが。
それにしても、大きい街の近くの海って、大体コンクリートで埋められて人工的な構造物に溢れているイメージなんですが、ここは都会から車で1時間ぐらいの気軽な距離でありながら、比較的自然のままの姿が残された海というのが良い。
海の見える神社というのも良いですね……。

こういう木でできたトンネルを見ると、となりのトトロのワンシーンが浮かんできます。小さい頃は木のトンネルに憧れて、近所の山で探していたなぁ……。
ちなみに羽豆岬のこの辺りはウバメガシの原生林が残っている場所で、この原生林は国の天然記念物に指定されているんだとか。良い感じの雰囲気のところだなぁとは思ったけれど、貴重な景色だったのか。
