Class of 2026
Would the grid have been in Boy Scouts if given the opportunity, a brief hypothetical:
George Russell: Yes. Obviously. Would have made Eagle Scout.
Kimi Antonelli: Cub Scouts, yes. Boy Scouts, no.
Alexander Albon: Yes. Would make it to the Life Scout rank but never get Eagle Scout because components of his project keep falling through.
Carlos Sainz: Yes. Eagle Scout with some sort of bizarre, niche project that no one really understands but somehow meets the requirements.
Lando Norris: Would have been in Cub Scouts for the socializing and quit once it started taking up too much of his time.
Oscar Piastri: Yes. Would be an Eagle Scout, but you only find this out from his mom five years after you first met him.
Liam Lawson: No.
Arvid Lindblad: Yes, but would try to keep it the down low.
Max Verstappen: Yes. Would have fixated on one skill (orienteering, probably) and quit once he got the merit badge.
Isack Hadjar: Yes, but only until it stopped being cool.
Estaban Ocon: Yes. Would probably make Star Scout before moving on with his life.
Ollie Bearman: I think no. Would be too busy with like. Club volleyball or something.
Nico Hülkenberg: Absolutely. Would make it to Life Scout rank, but go to college and not worry about getting Eagle Scout.
Gabriel Bortoleto: No. Would actively bully anyone in boy scouts.
Fernando Alonso: No chance in hell he's part of the organization, but somehow he would tag along on their camping trips and drink beer with the Scout Leaders.
Lance Stroll: Yes. Would be really into parts of it and actively ignore other parts.
Lewis Hamilton: Would have done cub scouts and then realized that he was too cool for Boy Scouts.
Charles Leclerc: Would be in Cub Scouts and then decide not to pursue Boy Scouts. Would outright deny any involvement in the organization when asked.
Franco Colapinto: Yes. Would feel constant guilt over the membership fees.
Pierre Gasly: Yes, to a point. Would definitely quit as a tween.
Valterri Bottas: No. Would either have not joined or would have gotten kicked out.
Checo Perez: Yes. Probably an Eagle Scout.
