and each of these fuckers have specific scenarios to follow the narrative I planned for them (some are my homies' suggestions because they don't understand that when they mention something with sukuna it becomes a core memory, the sukuneuron activates and I go apeshit with plot ideas), some are bigger than an oneshot, so, you see, I was telling my friends just yesterday, I CAN NOT start the hybrid wave rn, not before finishing JAWS and TSOR, or we will have a problem of unfinished shit and me burning out again until I die.

So hey, please send me energy to finish TSOR before the end of the year so I can DIVE in the hybrid!aus 🥹

(Also you all will need to understand that hybrid!au characters come with the animals characteristics so no scowling when they do unhinged shit-)

Meanwhile I have the horror stories that I will release once or twice a month so I can lock in on things that I write almost without thinking too hard.

the major responsible for my plot ideas going WILD are lumos, warden, ossi, nova, lean and cosmos, who sometimes decide to just say 'hey lucifer what if sukuna...' and from there on it's just CHAOS AND YELLING. That said, please never stop, you are feeding the machine. The machine being me, and you need to keep it working so I don't succumb to the darkness within that tries to swallow me every now and then.

Happy new year everyone! I want to outline my plans for the new year, partly to just update folks, but also to hold myself accountable and make me more likely to actually stick to the plans 😂.

This year, I really want my focus to be on my art, especially my comics.

With voidstar, I’ve finally reached my minimum page buffer I set and I’m just going through a final editing pass now, so I’m going to have some big news on that front shortly.

Juggernauts (the wheelchair basketball comic) is also moving along way faster than I had expected, so as long as nothing surprising happens, I should actually be good to start on those pages really soon!

As for my general art, starting next week, I’m going back to posting every week, most likely on Thursdays but the day might change.

Like I said last year, I am going to be taking a break from the big Writing Disability with Cy Cyborg posts for a bit, though I am thinking I might continue making similar (albeit shorter) content on Tik Tok (and YouTube shorts if I remember to post it there too lol), that seems to be a bit easier on my brain at the moment. I’m aware Tumblr users aren’t typically the biggest video-content fans so I’m not sure if I’ll post those here directly or not, lmk if that’s still something you folks are interested in. Otherwise it’ll probably just be the occasional quick thoughts post there for a bit.

Last year, I ended up running into some trouble with Tik Tok in particular censoring my disability content, which prompted me to finally stop umming and ahhing about it and make a Patreon. Everything I post across all my platforms and accounts is there for free, and in the event anything gets censored again, or I have to edit something so Tik Tok and YouTube will let it go up, the original unedited version will be there. I also have all my art there with some extras included like process timelapses. I do also have some paid memberships which give you early access to most of my content, WIPs and in the next week or so, I’ll have some more thorough breakdowns about my process as well.

2025 wrap-up and 2026 plans

as last time, I'm gonna look at what I had wanted for 2025 and then list what I hope to achieve this year :)) so, first thing on the 2025 agenda was:

fully finish writing and editing 'a case study on immolation'

eh. well, I did finish two and half drafts, but it's definitely not near done yet ahaha. I'd VERY optimistically hoped to have everything done by summer, which did not end up happening, and then I started studying, which also slowed progress a lot lol. still, I'm working on the third draft right now and feeling decently confident about it

have beta readers go over it

I did start sharing some chapters of the third draft, but since I'm still working on it, no one has seen the entire thing lmao

write short stories and send them to magazines

uhh well I did write some short stories this year, but I did not send them to any magazines lol. dropped the ball on this one I fear 😔

UHM so. I read exactly half of that:DD I did read a lot of work that isn't published, but I definitely didn't make enough time for my tbr this year 😔 the time just kinda went somewhere...idk y'all...

so, overall, 2025 was, eh, fine? I did approximately half of what I'd wanted, but:DD better than nothing I guess hahaha. okay, and now for my 2026 goals:

fully finish 'a case study on immolation' and get it out to beta readers

kind of just picking up where I'd left off lol. I expect I'll have the third draft done in the next couple of months, but then beta-reading is probably gonna take a while, sooo I guess I'm looking at autumn for the final version? I know I can't write as much as I did when I wasn't studying, so I'm giving myself more time this time around lol

participate in writing contests

that's something I've been meaning to do in 2025, too, but never got around to it. I did submit to one contest and ended up in the semi-finals, which was nice, so I'd like to do more of that this year:D in general I wanna write more short stories, so that'll be good motivation

reinvent my drawing style and draw more in general

I usually get phases throughout the year when I do a few illustrations in a row and then don't touch the pencil for months lol. part of that is, I think, because I don't really like my style all that much?? idk, it's kinda boring to me lol, so I wanna experiment with it and find a more appealing way of coloring

try actually doing instagram??

I genuinely dislike using social media lol (which is why I'm on tumblr mostly, because it doesn't feel like a Social Media :DD), but I also realize I should probably be more present on it. I've already tried twitter, tiktok, bluesky, and youtube, and ahh, none have stuck for various reasons. insta is something I've never engaged with much before, so I thought I might as well give it a go lol

I think that'll be enough this time around:DD here's hoping I can manage it all lol

There’s loads of things i wanna do!

1. I wanna steadily build up my stamina until i can safely travel alone again. Right now it ain’t safe for me cause one of the things that can happen if i have an autistic meltdown is elopement (<- i’d like to also write a post about this cause i think it’s interesting and not just as autism thing but also to because of how other people can react to me just hightailing it outta there lmao

2. Clean and redecorate my house + build a reading nook.

3. I had to drop outta school because of a whole buncha things but i was a good student and i really wanna get my diploma so i can study at university~ so! Now that i have a better grasp on my ocd i really wanna study lots this year!!! I’m excited to get back into it~ i really enjoy mathematics and learning about economics is real interesting!

4. Fix my eating habits with professional help~ another fun autism thing is that the worse i feel the more limited i become with what i can eat. Which is pretty fucked since i know my body will feel physically a bit better if i got some veggies in my system. It’s also probably veeeeeeeery bad that my body now lives by the mantra of dairy or death!

5. I’d like it if i could write lots! Read lots!! Watch movies lots!!! Watch series and shows!!!! Do crafting projects!!!!! And and and draw!!!!!! Basically i just wanna do more than be restricted to bedrotting lol

6. I’d like to go to a park where you can feed big koi fishies cause i think they’re cute!

7. Spend lotsa time with all the people i like!

I’m also really curious about what you (and 👀 also my other tumblr buddies) wanna do in 2026!!!!

2026 fic plans

i haven't posted anything this year, I miss my EinJoyce and my Anti Entropy enthusiasts. Also if I post this maybe I'll hold myself to it. So here's my tentative fic roadmap for 2026.

February - May: Until Then AU Act 2. Already well underway and if I lock tf in I see no reason I shouldn't finish it. (The caveat here is that my family is in the middle of planning a move right now, so it's possible I get busy in the spring months.)

June - August: Secret Summer Project. I have plans and they're good ones, not saying anything yet bc it's entirely possible that I don't have time to write while being a camp counselor. However it should be something light, fluffy, and sweet (think a strawberry shortcake with lots of whipped cream. That's the vibe in food terms.)

September- October: Until Then AU Act 3. Most of the first draft should be salvageable so I don't anticipate this taking four months. Barring mental health crises I see no reason this shouldn't be done by New Years. (And I do not anticipate another mental health crisis, I'll be much more grounded then due to the move.)

November - December: final revisions on Until Then AU, art pieces finished, begin posting. Then I'll take a break from hardcore writing but hopefully start research and planning for the Next Big Thing (I've low-key already started oops) I won't say anything yet but I have ideas and they're gonna hurt a lot

There's a possibility of some sweet one-shots throughout the year if the fancy strikes me. I don't anticipate writing very much hardcore romance this year, it's been weird for me recently with that. But holiday/birthday drabbles are entirely possible but not currently planned.
