1. Are they an alpha, beta, or omega?
Alpha. There is not a single doubt in my mind that he is anything but an alpha. No disrespect to omega and beta yuuji truthers tho <3
2. What secondary-sex do they like dating?
I feel like he's the kind of guy who doesn't exactly exclude betas and alphas from his dating pool, but he has a slight preference for omegas. Like, he just seems to not prioritize sexual or romantic relationships anyways, so if he *does* get into a relationship, it doesn't matter what their secondary gender is. He cares more about personality and compatibility! But if it's purely about attractiveness, omegas win out for him :-)
6. What's their scent like?
Something complex, layered, and absolutely stifling. I've seen quite a few good takes: one fic i read (i don't remember which im sorry!!) had him smelling like blood, and "I rename you 'Everything'." had yuuji smell like burning, with a slightly sweet peach-like undertone, and both are soooo fricking important to me! But if i were to write my own omegaverse fic, he would probably smell like a mix of the two. And it would feel like more of a memory, or experience, than like you're sniffing a perfume. It'd feel a little like this: Something is on fire, but the smoke isn't light and pretty; it burns your eyes, clogs your nose, and dries your mouth. You're about to be hunted like an animal and slaughtered mercilessly. You can smell the blood already, seeping into your clothes and your skin and your hair. There is no escape. The urge to run is present anyways, but you're too terrified to make it very far. As you fall to the ground below you, dirt getting in your mouth and up your nose, you accept your place as prey for this predator hunting you down.
So, yeah, yuuji smells like fire and blood and wet earth. To me ♡ it's not something too cartoonish though, most people would just say that his scent is too strong and off-putting, someone with a keen nose would identify something acrid and drying alongside a metallic twinge, and when he's particularly pleased he might smell more like damp earth than anything else, but it wouldn't be pleasant to most. He just smells intimidating and scary and overwhelming. A particularly compatible omega or a pack member might pick up on that sweeter undertone you can find in blood and dirt though, but it would still be very musky and smoky!
