ratalsoni1's a creator we looked at a couple of times back wiv the old archive, and i think on LittleBite-sizedPlanet, but most their levels were pubbed after the Dry Archive's cut-off. This one's the only one left up there, but at least it's a fun one. Or an interesting one that is kind of fun?

It's a Swoop level that's also a swimming level, which is a weird combo, but not one i've never seen before. ratal's fitted them wiv this neat little spin dash that can be a bit tough to control, but is cool, and pretty well-implemented throughout. The level itself is pretty cute, some nice incidental movement going on, i like the beachball-head character, decoration and materials are all well-chosen if perhaps a bit standard for the setting. It's a neat one, and worth a download and walk around the park.

took the day off work, which i can't really afford, but i woke up wiv a hell of a headache and a real need for at least a couple hours more sleep. no weird dreams last night, but the heat and general uncomfortableness kept me out of true sleep way later than my body really needed after getting its arse kicked by the sun yesterday.

got a little recording done, got to have a very at-my-own-pace morning. it was good. it's a little distressing how little it takes for me to feel just regular human, in that wiv work i don't tend to get even that much.
