I cannot begin to tell you how much better I feel after our anatomy scans. I feel more connected to the baby and Bill and I are all gushy. I felt like this a majority of my pregnancy with Kennedy and I’m happy to be back here. Like, actually happy to be pregnant and not dreading something all the time.

I hope it continues. Baby kicks are getting a bit stronger and more frequent and last night I felt it on the outside, just a small nudge on the palm hand but still something.

Getting bigger! Not so much my bump... more just me, as a whole. I've gained 8kg so far. Eek! #20w5d #pregnant #babybump

20 weeks

Half way there!! I'm so excited that I'm half way into this pregnancy, it's crazy how fast time is going by and I'm just excited to be closer to meeting my baby This week has been chill so far, other than the fact that I got my first leg cramps while being pregnant one on each leg while I was sleeping and let me tell you that was not fun. I've noticed that I drink way too many sugary drinks for a pregnant person. So now I been trying to cut back and just drink plan water but I will admit it's hard to do but If I do I drink any sugary drinks I drink very little just to satisfy my craving and will continue drinking water. My conscious just won't leave me a lone that I'm hurting my baby so it's gotten asier to pick up a bottle of water other than a can of coke. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow with a new mid wife I'm excited and hopefully all goes well!!

Anatomy Scan Update

So far so good. Obviously the tech can't really tell me anything, but nothing bad was brought up. She pointed out everything we were looking at. Boy was I relieved. I had the little wand on my tummy for an hour, it was getting sore. The boyfriends mom went with me to the appointment though. She was all teary eyed, it was nice. This is going to be her 12th grand-baby!

We went to the wrong hospital for the appointment, but luckily the 11 am appointment did show up. Phew! I did go the hospital where I'll be giving birth though, so it all works out in the end.

At the end of the ultrasound they gave me a disc that had a pink cover. The tech told me at the beginning that it basically shows me the sex. If I wouldn't have already known I would be freaking ecstatic! 

Everyone in the room commented on how active she was too. :)
